The Mantle is built on a simple principle: your prayer life is between you and God. We don't want your data. We don't need your data. Everything stays on your device.

Data Storage

All data — including prayer sessions, transcripts, streaks, preferences, and AI analysis — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

On-Device AI

The Mantle uses on-device AI models for speech-to-text and prayer analysis. These models run entirely on your phone. No audio, text, or analysis data is sent to external servers.

No Account Required

The Mantle does not require account creation, email addresses, or any personal information to use. There is no sign-up process and no user authentication in the current version.

No Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any user data to third parties. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, or data brokers integrated into the app.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification service receives information about your prayer schedule or content.

Microphone Access

The Mantle requests microphone access for real-time speech-to-text during prayer sessions. Audio is processed on-device by the Whisper AI model and is never recorded, stored as audio, or transmitted externally.

Future Changes

If we introduce cloud features in a future version (such as cloud sync or cloud AI), those features will be opt-in and this privacy policy will be updated accordingly. The core prayer engine will always remain fully functional offline.
